Materials

  • Watercolor paper (cold press)
  • Round brush (size 8–10)
  • Watercolors: blue, pink, purple
  • 2 water jars
  • Paper towel or cloth

Steps

  • 1 Wet the paper evenly with clean water.
  • 2 Load brush with blue and paint the top sky.
  • 3 Add pink and purple while paper is still wet.
  • 4 Let colors blend and flow naturally.
  • 5 While wet, lift color with a tissue for clouds.
  • 6 Let dry completely and admire your sky!
